Trainspotting 1996

Danny Boyles breaktrough-movie Trainspotting is intense, colorful and creative-shot. Set in Scotland, almost every dialouge is spoken in scottish. After some time you get used to it adds an extra honest layer to the movie. When nearly everyone of the main cast is from Scotland, the portraying of the characters seems more autentic, then if the cast were from England or America. Specially the hallucination-scenes is very well done and good performances from the cast, especially Ewan McGregor. This is one of Danny Boyles better movies and one of my favourite from the british director.
