High Noon 1952
This is a very interesting and very good suspense western-movie. It´s not one of the normal western, when we have many shootouts and several small climax-scenes, because in High Noon the nice trick is that throughout the movie up to the final climax, there are no shootouts and we are introduced to the characters while we wait for a crook to come to town with the noon-train. The suspense is superb! A good performance from Gary Cooper (Oscar for his role), Lloyd Bridges and always the beatiful Grace Kelly. The opening-song, “Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darlin” is a classic and did also won an Oscar for best song in this very good movie.
