Tomorrowland is directed by Brad Bird and starres George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy and Hugh Laurie. The movie centers on a girl’s finding of a pin, that let’s her see a totally different and futuristic world. She is then invited to get back to that world, but is it just what she imagined it would be, or is it different. I had the same feeling after watching this movie, when I watched John Carter (2012), I felt somewhat bored and the movie was too long. The beginning of this movie comes out as a little messy, but soon we get to actually see Tomorrowland with all its beauty, too bad that it’s only present like this in the beginning. But the problem with this movie is that it focuses on the wrong story as the main plot. George Clooneys adventure as a child is much more interesting than Britt Robertsons search for adventure. Robertson and Clooney does average performances but the little girl, played by Raffey Cassidy, steals the show. Her performance is mesmerizing and easily outshine the others. Hugh Laurie as the bad guy is the wrong choice for this movie. The ending felt a little rushed but overall a pretty average Disney-movie that managed to flop like other movie before it, John Carter (2012) and The Lone Ranger (2013).
