Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016

Finally the Batman v Superman movie is here and boy it’s a mess. One of the main problems with this movie is that too many new characters are introduced. We have Ben Afflecks Batman, Gal Gadots Wonder Woman, Jessie Eisenbergs Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons Alfred. The only already main-introduced character are Henry Cavills Superman and Lois Lane played by Amy Adams. It seems to me that they had a really rush to set up this new characters for the upcoming Justice League-movie and this result in a forced recognition of the main-character in this movie. There are moments in this movie that works, mainly the opening sequence which is beautifully shot in slow motion, Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot is quite good, the action-scenes is entertaining to watch. Ben Affleck does an okay performance as Bruce Wayne and Batman, so does Henry Cavill as Superman. But the movie is way too long and shifts focus of interest so much after the opening sequence that I’m became a little dizzy. Jessie Eisenberg is ridiculously weird as Lex Luthor and his performance does not work. Too sum it all up: The movie is nice to look at but the story falls trough.
