There Will Be Blood 2007
It usually takes years between movies starring Daniel Day Lewis, but then when he acts, he does it so good! This movie is a beautiful example. He plays an oilman driven to power, and uses an orphan-boy to help him gain his sucsess. His role as Daniel Plainview was so good that it earned him an Oscar for best leading actor. This is a very well made movie and is absolutely one of the best movies of the 2000s. The scenes from the desert-like landscape are stunning and the ending is marvelous. Overall a very good movie with a great performance from on of the best actors out there, Daniel Day Lewis.
